The activity directly linked to our history begins in 1999 with the work carried out by Kinoki-lumal in Guatemala in the surroundings of Lake Atitlán, carrying out training work for image viewers, later the link with indigenous organizations of Chiapas is carried out, conducting their interests in the audiovisual field; In the year 2000 Kinoki-lumal supports a KINOKI initiative raising awareness among the mestizo population with projections in 16 mm. of the National Film Library in Tuxtla Gutiérrez and in San Cristóbal de Las Casas, which later became linked to what is now called an independent cultural forum, where apart from enjoying your favorite film, you can eat and drink.
