San Antonio neighborhood.

The temple of San Antonio was founded by Franciscan friars at the end of the 16th century and beginning of the 17th century, a few years after the Temple and convent of San Francisco. During the festival of San Antonio that is celebrated on June 13, people who come to visit it have the opportunity to drink the holy water of San Antonio.
The festivities in this neighborhood begin by receiving San Diego de Alcalá who arrives at the temple on an "official visit". The sculpture is placed on the altar and remains there during the nine days of the festival where the faithful come to adore it.

The temple in this neighborhood is dedicated to San Antonio de Padua.

The neighborhood has been characterized by dedicating itself to pyrotechnic activity (rocketers). This tradition dates back to 150 years of artisan families and takes place in a place called "la galera"

In the same church an image of the Virgin of the Miraculous Medal is venerated, which is said to have been brought from Paris in the first decade of the 20th century by Bishop Orozco y Jiménez. The celebration starts from November 19 to November 27. This neighborhood is well known for the production of fireworks, with fireworks being its traditional trade.
